Celebrating the beautiful life of Ramina Atniel

Dear St. Mel families,

As you may be aware, Ramina Atniel (mother of St. Mel students Isabella and Nicholas) passed away on Tuesday morning, surrounded by her loving husband Ron, her incredibly strong kids, and her parents. Fr. Steve was able to pray with her one final time early that morning. Ramina had been battling cancer for eight years, and God called her home to end her suffering here on earth. She is finally at peace in Heaven.

Ron and his children have an unbelievably strong spirit. Throughout this battle, they demonstrated remarkable grace, courage and faith in God. Ron has often expressed deep gratitude for all our prayers, which made a genuine difference for Ramina and the family. Now, in addition to those prayers, there is another way that you can assist the Atniels as they mourn their loss.

The St. Mel Parent Community and Family has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with funeral, burial and other expenses. We invite you to prayerfully discern what sort of contribution you might make to the fund. We also ask you to please help spread the word among others in the community.

Any contribution you can offer will be greatly appreciated and will help ease financial stress for the family.
