Celebrating the Life of Robert Gomez

Many of you may have heard about the passing of our dear friend, Robert Gomez, on August 15, 2024. He courageously fought and lost a battle with job-related cancer. In this time of sorrow, your kindness and generosity will help cover funeral costs as well as the expensive cancer treatment. We thank you for all the love and support for the Gomez family in their grieving times.

Though Robert is no longer physically with us, he will always be remembered for his big and warm heart to everyone he met. He carried a big smile on his face, cheerful, larger than life personality, his bubbly character spread happiness and lifted up spirits around him. Back in Kwajalein when he was stationed there, he would open his house to the other firefighters who lived in bachelor quarters and would cook food for them, he would host gatherings for other Pinoys or friends to bring them closer together. If we needed help, Robert would be for sure the first responder.

A devoted and loving husband to Hayna, wonderful father to Rachel and RJ, a dependable Captain at Fire Dept, a good friend, a mentor. Robert, you will be deeply missed.
