Celebrating the Life of Sammy Ortiz

This is something I never thought I would have to write, Superman is gone, the freaking ninja is really gone. Unexpectedly, our beloved uncle Sammy Ortiz has left us due to a massive heart attack. Sammy was our hero, so wise, full of life and the only person who really loved unconditionally. Sammy was pure heart and there was no one that he wouldn’t help. His sudden departure has left us shattered. He was more than just family; he was a guiding light, a source of joy, and an irreplaceable presence in our lives. We the family, we are not ok, we will not be strong, we are going to cry and fight and make mistakes as we grieve, but what we will not do is allow the world not to understand what we lost. We will celebrate his life, his light, and we will celebrate and honor who he was and how he touched everyone he ever met. As we navigate this profound loss, we are faced with unexpected expenses. Any contribution, big or small, will help us give him the farewell he deserves and alleviate the financial burden during this difficult time.
