Celebrating Tito Tony's Life: Memorial Fund

Hi family and friends of Tito Tony. My name is Joe (Jojo), Tito Tony's nephew in the San Francisco, California. This is a fundraiser to help support our Dela Cruz family remember and honor Tito Tony who passed away this past Aug 23rd, 2024. The collected proceeds from the fundraising will all be directed to the funeral services and other arraignments to remember our Tito Tony.

Tito Tony was first taken to the hospital in July 2024 due to shortness of breath. For several weeks, he was placed in the intensive care unit in the hospital with a medical oxygen apparatus to help Tito Tony to breathe. After a month or so, Tito Tony's deteriorating condition did not improve and he passed away from respiratory failure and secondary pneumonia with Tito Edgar and Tita Norma by his side in the hospital.

Early in his life, Tito Tony severely suffered from an undiagnosed mood disorder that contributed to uncontrolled fits. When he returned to the Philippines over two decades ago Tito Tony was diagnosed with schizophrenia. With the supervision of Tita Thelma and Tito Johnny, Tito Tony finally received proper medical assistance to help him regulate and manage his condition.

I am close to Tito Tony's kids and grandchildren in Nevada and I had the pleasure of meeting Tito Tony's family in Hawaii. Despite Tito Tony's ongoing medical condition, his passing has left many of us with a deep feeling of loss.

Tito Tony is survived by Tita Jiji, Tita Magdalena, sons Jayce and Mark, daughters Joy and and Anna, and many grandkids. Manang Angie who recently pass away this past March is Tito Tony's oldest daughter. The Dela Cruz family would like to remember Tito Tony at his finest, as a husband, a father, and a brother.
