Veterans Weeks Celebration - Being Seen & Heard
When: Nov. 7 - 13
When: Nov. 7 - 13
Where: Delray Beach, Davie, Nova Southeastern University
What: Help us recognize all who serve the military: veterans and those on the homefront: parents, spouse, children who also serve and deserve to be recognized and thanked for their service. We do this by engaging with the local communities to identify veterans and homefront from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm / Gulf War 1, Enduring Freedom / Afghanistan, and Iraqi Freedom, then post those banners in high foot-traffic areas and holding ceremonies led by Junior ROTC cadets.
The goal is to create connections between the community and the veterans and homefront in their community to build stronger, healthier, and more engaged neighborhoods.

In Delray Beach the banners will be displayed on Atlantic Ave, their main street in the downtown district.
Wewill post 40 Tribute Banners, costing $195 per banner, so we need to raise $7,800 ASAP so we can fund the banners to be distributed before Veterans Day. What works in Delray, Davie and Nova Southeastern will work in most cities.
Join us in recognizing those who served our country.
