Celebrating Wiley Wisdom and his love of gardening

Many of you have reached out asking for ways to help Marta-Elena and her boys, since Wiley passed away February 23, 2020. As you may know, Marta-Elena lost her job more than a year ago and was caring for Wiley while he was struggling with ALS. Wiley was an avid gardener and the one who created their beautiful backyard garden. While spending time with Marta-Elena over the past few months, it has become clear that she would gain some strength from having a relaxing place to decompress. We would like to revamp the Wisdom garden, make it simple and easy to maintain, so that the garden could be a haven for Marta-Elena, Larkin and Julian to relax in. 

We are now setting up this fund to honor Wiley, his passion for gardening and his love for his family. Marta-Elena’s close friends in Pelham will help her organize the garden transformation to create a place of color & serenity for the Wisdom family to share together.

Wiley’s birthday was Sunday, May 17th  - to honor his life and celebrate his birthday, please join us in supporting the Wisdom Family Garden.
