Celebration of Heather Carle’s Life

On January 1, 2022 – Heather Darlene Carle (Heather the Hairdresser) was diagnosed with triple negative, metastatic breast cancer. Only a few weeks before this Heather was still healthy and vibrant with no idea that she was ill.

Heathers journey from January 1st and her initial diagnosis was stunningly quick, every week brought more information and less hope. By late February her cancer had rapidly spread through her bones and internal organs and into her brain.

Soon after the discovery that Heather’s cancer had metastasized to her brain, she was admitted to Victoria Hospice where she passed away on March 16, 2022.

So many friends, family members and clients reached out to offer their help and support during Heather’s illness. The speed with which the cancer moved through her body made it impossible for her to be with so many of the people she longed to see. Throughout her journey Heather was always aware of how loved and honoured she was. Knowing the love and support she had made her final journey so much easier.

We are raising money to help cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services and the many expenses that were incurred to keep Heather home and comfortable until her very last few days.
