Celebration of Life - Brandon Faulkner Sr.
A truly amazing soul was lost on Monday, July 5th with the tragic passing of Brandon Faulkner. Words can’t describe the pain endured by the loss of someone loved by so many. Someone so full of life with so many gifts that he brought to the world.
Brandon was an intelligent, loving and caring Father, Husband, Son, Brother and Friend and the impact of his death will long be felt by many. Those who knew Brandon would agree, he had quite the competitive spirit! Brandon was always willing to go 'toe to toe' with pretty much anybody, in any sport. He was also the 1st willing to jump into the pool for a round of water volleyball or a game of corn hole. Over the more recent years, he had also taken up the sport of disc golf. Although he was still learning the game, he mostly did it as a way to spend time with his brother (Andy), his son (Brandon Jr.), all the new friends he made and anyone who was willing to listen to him make grunts and noises as he threw a great throw! (or perhaps to laugh at the crappy throw someone else may have made!!!) :-)
The outpour of support from friends, family, neighbors and coworkers has been heartwarming for all of his family. Sadly, we realize when someone is gone just how many people they have impacted and many have asked how you can help honor Brandon’s memory. In lieu of flowers, any contributions to help offset funeral and personal related expenses would be most appreciated as these expenses should be the last worry for his wife and children during this time of sorrow. Anything you are able to contribute whether it’s a word of advice, a written memory of Brandon or a financial contribution, EVERYTHING is greatly appreciated.
One thing we can all realize with this tragedy is that there is no promise of tomorrow. Our greatest hope is that Brandon's life will help others take pause and look into their own lives. Don't take a single day for granted!
Love BIG! Have fun, be humble and don't put anything off until tomorrow! Brandon wouldn’t want this to be goodbye…He’d simply say “Right On!!”
Consider this one of Brandon’s last gifts to this world!
