Celebration of life for Bernice Martinez

Donation protected
Friends and Family,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved mother, BerniceMartinez. After dedicating 18 years of her life to serving as an officer in NYPD School Safety Sargent, she tragically fell ill due to her heroic efforts on 9/11. Despite battling COPD, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular issues, she remained a strong and resilient woman, fighting against the odds. Our mom's strength and perseverance were evident not only in her professional life but also in raising her two boys with unwavering love and devotion. She also became a mother figure to her nieces and nephews, extending her compassion and care to them.
Our mom possessed an irreplaceable spirit that brightened every room she entered. Her laughter was infectious, and it lit up the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her incredible zest for life and her ability to spread joy wherever she went. Her remarkable qualities of compassion, understanding, giving, and love were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Unfortunately, due to her illness, there were some missed payments on her life insurance policy, leaving us in a challenging financial situation.

We are coming together to honor her memory and bid her farewell, we are seeking your support in creating a beautiful funeral arrangement that truly reflects the vibrant and loving soul she possessed. In order to give her the heartfelt farewell she deserves, we kindly request your contribution towards the funeral expenses. Your donation will be immensely appreciated.

By joining hands and pooling our resources, we can ensure that our mom receives the dignified farewell that she deserves. Let us come together as a community to show our gratitude for her selfless service and the tremendous impact she had on our lives.

She will always be near, even if we don’t see her. She is with us even if she’s far away. She is in our hearts ,in our thoughts in our life always.
