Celebration of Life for Charles Edmonds Jr.

Hello, thank you for visiting the Gofundme page for our dear father, Charles Edmonds Jr. Charles Edmonds Jr. was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband while he was married. He gave relentlessly to family, friends, and even strangers alike. Our father Charles was a hard worker, giving 110% to each and every aspect of the work he partook in. He gave his life to the Lord and served as a Reverend at his local church in Maryland. Through the church’s community outreach program, he helped men and women turn their lives around by hosting prayer groups and connecting them with vocational resources. Our dear father Charles worked for Prospect Roofing as a supervisor for many years. Several years after that, he worked as a foreman for Clark construction company.

In 2012 Charles was diagnosed with prostate cancer, in which he successfully beat. In 2014 Charles experienced a stroke, leaving him unable to work as he was paralyzed on his left side. He managed to gain some mobility with the use of a cane due to his strong will and perseverance. Through social security, he was able to sustain himself financially. In February of 2022, Charles was diagnosed with stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma and unfortunately succumbed to the disease on May 5, 2022.

Two children and three grandchildren survive Charles Edmonds Jr. This sudden occurrence has devastated us, as we have lost the patriarch of our family. On February 11th, 2022, we also unexpectedly lost our mom, the matriarch of our family. During this challenging time, as we are planning our father’s and mother’s memorial service, we ask for donations to help cover the memorial service cost.
