It is with a heavy heart and disbelief we announce the passing of our beloved, Father, The legendary Funky Doctor Classie Ballou JR. Most remember Classie was the bass guitar for Boozoo Chavis, His hit Harlem Suffle, or the great recent times spent with Jeffery Broussard and Brandon Ledet for many years! To know him is to love Him, He had a heart of Gold, and he never met a stranger! Thinking back, he always had that affectionate smile on his face! We the family of Classie, ask that you help us lay this incredible man, that gave so much to his community to rest! Any donations big or small would be a help!
