Celebration of Life for Connie Ducharme

Hello,

Sadly my Aunty Connie passed away. After a short battle with an aggressive cancer which she won, her health rapidly declined. Being the tough woman she was, she followed her PT regimen and worked hard to get better. Unfortunately, and to the shock of not only us but her doctors and nurses too, she passed on.

Her requests for funeral/ celebration of life were modest and simple; No funeral but a celebration of life in the country where she grew up with her 3 sisters and two brothers. This is also where we will be burying her next to her mother.

She wished for her sister Vicki and brother-in-law Tom set up their band and have a jam night in her honour.

Bringing the family together was important to her and in her death she will succeed at that.

Unfortunately, she was not financially secured and we are struggling to get the minor necessities to give her a loving send off.

If you are willing and able please consider donating, anything will help. We would spend the donations on food, chairs, printing and framing photos of her, rent a tent to protect from the elements and for her sisters band to play, an outhouse.

We wish to celebrate her life before we lay her to rest beside her mother in the community cemetery.
