Leanne’s Celebration of Life

This isn’t something I had ever expected to write. On Sunday, August 29th, I received the devastating phone call that Leanne was taken away from us, from her babies, from her whole world. I can’t fathom the amount of pain they will endure as they grow never knowing their mother the way we all did. They will never remember the kind of love Leanne had for them. The way she lit up talking about them, or how she was when she was around them.

I knew Leanne long before she had kids. Her spirit was infectious. Her smile was always bright and she was usually laughing about something ridiculous. She had the kindest heart and would do just about anything, for anyone.

I write this because now she needs our help, her family does, her kids do. I set this account up so we can come together as her community to help celebrate her life.

All of the money that is donated to this account will go to her reception to celebrate her life. 

Whatever is left over will go to her children. Even if it’s a small amount, it is something.

Leanne, you will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you and wish I could give you the biggest hug and tell you “you’re pretty” after you did/said something ridiculous.
