Celebration of Life for Michael Mckeehan

On March 14th, Michael was called home to be with his mother Joan in Heaven. He had fought hard over the last 10 months from his surgery last April that was in an effort to recover from complications caused from his original weight loss surgery in November 2014. Although the last year was his most difficult, he braved it with a smile to make lasting memories with his family. 

That Tuesday he was at home with the two smallest children when he collapsed with trouble breathing. They were able to call 911 under the advisement of their grandmother and he was rushed to the hospital. Despite life saving measures, Michael’s body was not able to recover. 

Michael is survived by his wife Michelle, six children: Justin, Alexis, Kasey, Valerie, Samantha, & Cecilia; daughter-in-law Monika; three grandchildren: Aiden, Aubrey, & Alaya; three siblings: Sam, Bernadette, & Frank; his father Samuel; and countless other family and friends. 

Michael was a good hearted man that would do whatever was needed to help someone in need. He was blessed with a giving heart and loved his family immensely. 

This gofundme is being set up with several purposes in mind. The funds will be used for his celebration of life, keeping the girls in their sports and all of life's other expenses.  There is no donation too small and everything/anything will be a blessing. Prayers and well wishes for the whole family are always welcomed as well.
