Celebration of Life for Sekou Khari Dancy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sekou K. Dancy. He was tragically killed on his way home from work driving on the S Fulton Parkway in Fairburn, Ga on January 5th, 2022.

 

For those that knew him, knew how much of an amazing human being he was. His genuine spirit, kind heart, and warm presence brought joy to everyone he came in contact with. Sekou was a talented soul who loved and supported his family and his friends. He was often referred to as everyone's big brother. During the pandemic, Sekou was selfless. While being affected himself, he still found a way to give to others. This was the kind of man he was.

Sekou left a lasting impact on every person he met. One person in particular, the love of his life...Rose. If you ask Rose, Sekou always took care of everything and she never had to worry. He was her friend, her listening ear, her voice of reason and above all else, her true life partner. Sekou's sudden and tragic transition has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.  He will be deeply missed by all.

We, the family, continue to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Sekou will live in our hearts forever!
