Celebration of Life for Bridgette Ealy
Donation protected
We are absolutely devastated by the sudden and unexpected passing of Bridgette Ealy on December 27, 2022 leaving countless students, teachers, staff, and her family members to survive her in their memories as Bridgette continues her journey in heaven. As a special education Teacher, Principal, Director, and Lead in Special Education, Bridgette strived relentlessly to guide us towards an understanding of meeting student’s need both academically and emotionally. She had a delivery that was both gentle and powerful at the same time. Bridgette had an unmatched level of kindness, a truly loving spirit, and the heart of an angel. Bridgette was rooted in a heart of pure gold. The love of traveling gave way for Bridgette to meet many people all over the world. We all saw something very special in her because she made us feel like she saw something very special in us. She reached out with kindness and consideration to everyone she came across. She touched all our hearts in so many different and valuable ways. Bridgette epitomized the richness of humanity, and she enveloped every situation with class. She truly cared about her family, students, parents, staff, and the community. Bridgette was a true leader that gave of her time, was a great listener, and let people know she cared about them. She was a great believer that actions speak louder than words and she was active in many charitable activities. To many of us, Bridgette was a mentor, a counselor, a beacon of light, and to her family she was the centerpiece who held the family together. Above all, Bridgette valued the relationships she had with every person that was part of her life.
Abina, you have unselfishly shared your mother with our schools and communities. There have been more people than you could ever imagine keeping you and your family in their thoughts and prayers. Your mother was an advocate for inclusive practices for all students. Her goal was helping other succeed. She was a caring, loving, and compassionate woman who was devoted to her family and helping others.
As a friend of the family, I have started a fundraiser to help Bridgette’s daughter, Abina, cover the high costs of the funeral. We want to be able to give the memorial Bridgette deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. Any additional funds will go towards scholarship funds for students per Bridgette’s request. Please consider donating if you can do so. We are grateful for every donation we receive during this difficult time. It would mean a lot if you can also share this fundraiser with others who knew Bridgette Ealy.
Thank you for your consideration.
