Celebration of Life: Tai'Ja Turner, Rochester, NY
Donation protected
To all of our family, friends, acquaintances, and generous community members, there are no words that can fully express how much your generosity means to all who loved and knew our heavenly angel, Tai'Ja. Sid'ra and her son-in-love, Isaiah Turner, have received an outpouring of support in their time of need and... just wow; I am in awe of the outpouring of love. You have our heartfelt gratitude!!! New details... The Turner family is hosting the repass, details will be shared here.
We're taking donations to fund funeral and burial costs ($10,000) and future educational costs and family support during a time of unexpected and unimaginable tragedy. Please share and donate what you can so our girl Tai’Ja can have a proper sendoff! Dear friends and family, and generous citizens, I am heartbroken to share my dearest friend, Sid'ra Cook, of Rochester, NY, lost her only child, Mrs. Tai’Ja Turner (Cook-Cooper) in her sleep at the age of 29 years young on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Today, I am asking for your generosity to help lay Sid'ra’s daughter and my goddaughter, a beautiful and tirelessly working soul, to rest in a manner fitting Tai'Ja's beautiful spirit. Did you know that Tai'Ja lived in Maryland (Greater Washington, DC) and Rochester? But of course, her heart was with the #ROC and the #ROC is where she will lay. Tai’Ja leaves on earth her jewel, Amiyah (4); her heart, Qa'Mauri (13); her love, her husband Isaiah; her mother, Sid'ra; and a village of family, friends, and community members who treasured her. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Updates on funeral arrangements are forthcoming.
Some of you may know that Sid'ra recently returned home after knee replacement surgery. This GoFundMe is to offer primary support to lay her daughter Tai’Ja to rest, support her grandchildren’s future educational needs, and support the family through their difficult adjustments to life without Tai’Ja.
