Celebration of Mike Pursey’s Life

Hi, we would like to share the news of Mike’s passing from this life on Earth into heaven. Our Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and amazing friend was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. He fought 7 long and hard months with his wife Susan by his side every moment possible. Mike lost his mobility completely on June 15th, leading to Susan supporting and assisting him every minute, of everyday, with every single function of life. Mike faced several obstacles throughout the 7 months with several hospital stays, being bed bound at home most of the time, and even a having their vehicle stolen from the Veterans Affairs hospital parking lot. Our beloved Mike left all the pain and suffering behind on October 25th, 2022. This passing has left a huge void in our hearts and beyond that, new financial obligations for his wife, our Mom, Susan. We are hoping to assist Susan in every way possible physically, emotionally, psychologically, and financially. Every little bit helps as she stopped working in March of 2022 to fight along with her husband on his journey. Many expenses have been incurred and we are sending our beloved Husband and Father to his final rest with a celebration of life that he absolutely deserves. Mike always had the largest and most generous of hearts and was always passionate about others. We greatly appreciate any amount contributed great or small, none of which will go unnoticed. We also invite everyone to take part in his celebration at his viewing on 11/7 430pm-830pm and funeral services on 11/8 at 11am. Both celebrations to take place at Green Hills Memorial Park on Western Ave. in San Pedro, Ca.
