Celebration of the life of Timothy Michael Dean
Timothy Michael Dean March 25, 1963 - January 7, 2019, Tim Dean as some people called him, or simply Tim was a truly amazing person and loved by many. The devastating news of his death has been shocking and alarming, raising great concern within the LGBTQ community.
As we look back at Tim’s life, legacy, friendships, connections to the community, and fervor for fashion; do so through the lens of Timothy Michael Dean. He loved basketball and was a member of the Los Angeles Lambda Basketball League where he made friends all over the world as a Hall of Fame player and overall social butterfly. A man of tremendous faith, Tim was a steadfast member of The Potter House Church but you could catch him wearing his “Sunday’s best” any day of the week. It would only make sense that he would have a job working for Saks Fifth Ave!
Tim Dean was compassionate. He knew how to make his friends feel like they mattered because to him YOU did. As part of his warm circle of friends and family, please join us in remembering him in the same positive light he held for all of us. The negative narrative the media is spinning is not the way we knew him, so join us in an effort to tell his side of the story the way he deserves to be shared with the world.
Tim is widely loved and as a reflection of the light and love he gave, a Go Fund Me page is being created to cover the cost of sending Timothy Michael Dean to his home state of Florida, funeral expenses and a memorial service.
*Any contributions made will benefit the cause of his homecoming and will be appreciated.*
