In Memory of Weston
No one expects something like this to happen. Weston was and will always be THE most amazing kid with the biggest heart.
A lot of people have been asking how they can help my sister Mallory and her husband Glen as they grieve the death of their 5 year old boy Weston. Through this time, they have felt so grateful for the love that surrounds them - everyone providing support, whether it is through messages, flowers or food. They want everyone to know that they do not need money for expenses or anything and felt uncomfortable having a Gofundme.
Any money gathered through here will be used in the future to create a scholarship, bursary, or something to honour Weston’s name. They do not have the ability to make these decisions now so you can choose to wait for those details before donating. They don’t know what they will do but know they will use the money to add joy to the world which is exactly what Weston did every day.
Weston was killed suddenly while at an outdoor camp when a tree fell. He died suddenly and felt no pain which gives my sister and Glen their only comfort. Weston was an outgoing, happy, passionate, kind, goofy, and smart kid who loved being in nature and looking at trees and plants and animals around him. He wanted to be an architect, a construction worker, a mechanic, and an artist when he grew up. Weston was so happy when he became a big brother to June and was so gentle and kind and could often be found on the floor reading a book to calm June. He was never asked to take care of June but always wanted to be near her and wanted to make her laugh.
Thank you for all your love and support and please know we are not in need of this money but appreciate it and will put all donations to good use.
