Celena's Dream

My name is Danny, and I am raising money for my long-time colleague and friend, Celena Stephens. Celena has been a special education teacher for over 25 years and has served in our US Navy. She has spent most of her adult life helping special needs students and their families in some capacity. Celena runs a resource department that supports students and families with food, small household, and personal items. You would never have known that she has lived through two catastrophic floods that have displaced her from her own home twice. You would never know because she always keeps a smile and is always the first to help someone else when they are in need.

After the first flood, Celena managed to use all of her available resources to get her home back up on its feet. Unfortunately, during our last Hurricane, “Ian,” a catastrophic flood, the water caused her house to shift severely. It was ruled uninhabitable and had to be torn down. She lost almost everything she owned, including her car.

To help Celena recover, I am asking you to give whatever you can so she can have some financial resources to close the financial gap in the rebuilding process so she will not have the burden of securing another mortgage when retirement is looming in her very near future.
