Celeste Schultz - Trust Accounts for her Children

Donation protected
This week we received some pretty devastating news. My 43-year-old sister was taken to ECMC where it was determined that her liver is no longer functioning. She was in the ER for three days before she was finally stable enough to move into a room. On day 4, her doctor told us that she is in acute liver failure with internal bleeding.

Once she is stable enough, the doctor said she could be released with Hospice care. She will require daily medical care and a medication that will act as her liver for the time being.

My mother asked the doctor to be honest regarding her life expectancy in which he told us he has seen some patients live up to 6 months after leaving the hospital. Unfortunately, he doesn't see this being the case with her condition.

Prior to this, she was also battling a recent breast cancer scare but that's a story for another day...

Many of you that know Celeste, know that she has fought HARD against mental illness for years. But her struggles WILL NEVER outweigh the Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend she once was.

Anytime anyone needed her, she would be there at the drop of a dime. She was the person that hand-made masks during the pandemic to donate. If you were going through tough times, you know a handwritten letter, a painting or some kind of arts and craft project with cute little flowers painted all over would be on your doorstep to remind you that she loves you. And no matter how hard you pushed her to hang out on a Sunday, she would never give up family day or family dinner night.

She was the Mom I wanted to be to my own kids. Always crafting with her kids, taking them on adventures, joking and making sure they had fun. She was the cool hockey mom to her son Jordan's friends. She was best friends with her Daughter, Netty and she was the best mom in the eyes of her daughter, Ellis.

We are setting up this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the accruing medical expenses, though the main goal is to set up a trust for her 3 children as she does not have a life insurance policy.

If you are able to donate, thank you!
