CELIA'S GUTMAN SURGERY

Hi.  My name is Sharon.  This is my mother Celia.  She's a mother of 3 and grandmother of 5.   


Unfortunately, we are going through a delicate moment with my mother's health.
She was diagnosed with severe vasculitis last year and the disease is attacking an important part of her mouth.  She has had three surgeries in the last 11 months, but another one is required where they have to remove 70% of the jaw bone and put in a titanium plate.  It's vital to have this surgery as soon possible because there is an abscess on the side of her jaw that is expanding and will soon affect her brain.  After the surgery there will be a long road to recovery.  She will need additional therapies.  She will have to learn all over again how to eat and move her mouth.

She lives in Mexico City where proper health care can be difficult to obtain.  Unfortunately, she does not have insurance and the operation is very expensive and out of our reach.  Even if treatment is necessary to save a life, hospitals won't even consider it without knowing you have the ability to pay.

So we decided to start this gofundme to raise funds and help us a little with this big problem.  Everything donated will go directly to pay for her surgery
