A disabled trans woman who is suddenly homeless

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Celty (aka Diamond) and I've suddenly and unexpectedly become homeless.

I'm a 53-year-old physically disabled (resulting from childhood neurological trauma), mentally ill (Bipolar, CPTSD, DID) Jewish trans woman, still recovering from major foot and ankle surgery.

After two stays in a psychiatric hospital and a breakup with a partner I lived with, I found myself homeless for the second time in six years.

Due to my disabilities, I live on a fixed income from Social Security, and low-income housing is at a premium where I live, usually with long waiting lists of two years or more. Section 8 is by occasional lottery only.

I'm looking into rooms to rent, but in the meantime, I'm living in my car, which needs some important repairs.

Even rooms for rent often require a damage deposit, some significantly pricey, so I need to set aside money for that. Having some money to use for occasional motel stays would be nice, too.

Please help if you can. If you can't contribute $, you can still help by sharing this fundraiser far and wide.
