CenterStage in Lake Forest, a not-for-profit community theatre group founded in 1971, offers the opportunity for families and individuals to participate in all areas of fully-produced shows at Gorton Community Center, including classic Broadway musicals and plays, theater for young audiences, and community-based talent shows. Open to volunteers of all ages, performers, musicians, directors, artisans, and audiences alike are rewarded with an inspiring educational experience by working together and with professionals in the many aspects of stagecraft.
We are excited to present our summer production "Brigadoon," with popular songs "Waitin' for my Dearie," "Almost Like Being in Love," and "Heather on the Hill," this lyrical Scottish love story is fun for all ages.
To bring "Brigadoon" to life, we need YOUR help! A contribution to CenterStage funds rental space for rehearsals and performances, performance rights, costumes, sets, props, and marketing materials. CenterStage depends on the generosity of donors like you to keep our doors open and to be able to continue to create collaborative, innovative theatre.
A gift to CenterStage is not only an investment in keeping the arts alive in our community, but also in fostering lifelong relationships across generations.
