Central Texas LGBTQIA+ Youth Leadership Summit

The Central Texas LGBTQIA+ Youth Leadership Summit is a unique opportunity for youth, families, educators, community members, and organizations to come together in a spirit of celebration, connection, and learning about LGBTQIA+ identities and topics.
The event, which began in 2018, is spearheaded by Austin-based therapist, Max Casero. Max spent six years working in Austin ISD middle schools providing support for a broad range of students - some of which identified as LGBTQIA+. A weekly diversity lunch group grew into an additional monthly after school group that focused on learning about various queer-related topics and practicing drag makeup; and those groups were the inspiration for the inaugural LGBTQIA+ Student Leadership Summit. The goal was to create a day in which all Austin ISD and central Texas LGBTQIA+ students, families, and educators could come together in a space of safety and inclusivity.
And now we are back for round two, with a planning team comprised of community members who represent and work with LGBTQIA+ folx around the Central Texas area! Represented organizations include Communities in Schools of Central Texas, Planned Parenthood, Austin Sexual Health & Wellness, UnHushed, Austin ISD, and Prism Counseling Services, LLC.
Your donations will help fund the following:
- Breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all participants and volunteers
- Makeup and wigs for Gender Play groups
- Art supplies for art-based groups
- Printing materials to publicize the event
- Security services to keep our participants safe
- Spanish translation services

Green: $75-$150 - Get a Summit t-shirt, pin, sticker, & Facebook shout out...We love swag!
Blue: $150-$250: You or your organization will be recognized as an event Donor on all printed materials...plus you get all the swag!
Violet: $251-$500: You or your organization will be recognized as an event Sponsor on all printed materials AND will be projected on a screen during the event...plus all the swag!
Indigo: $500-$1,000: You or your organization will be recognized as an event Leader on all printed materials; space on printed materials will be provided for a bio/blurb in addition to your logo...plus you get all the swag!
Spectrum: $1,000-$2,000: You or your organization will be recognized as an event Visionary on all printed materials; space on printed materials will be provided for a bio/blurb; you or your organization will get verbal acknowledgment during all community gathering times at the event...plus you get all the swag!
