Central Valley School District Senior Project

My name is Joshua and I am a senior at Central Valley High School in Monaca, PA.  For my senior project,    I have decided to pick the Wings for Vets (www.wings4vets.net) organization to support.  I picked this specific organization because I believe in what they stand for.

Regardless of your political affiliation or your beliefs, it is our veterans who continue to place themselves in harms way so that we can continue to have the liberties we enjoy so much.  Wings for Vets is a non-profit organization with a clear and direct vision:  Vets helping Vets.  Having come from a family full of military heroes, this is close to my heart as I have personally witnessed the struggle veterans face when seeking necessary healthcare in order to be able to live a quality life. 

At Wings for Vets, Military-Rated Veteran Pilots fly other veterans in need of various, special medical procedures to a number of medical facilities throughout the United States.  Wings for Vets flies these wounded warriors at no charge.  This organization relies totally on donations from people who love veterans.  Often when funds are low, these pilots will pay for the aircraft fuel out of their own pockets.  Fuel is their greatest expense.      

To help this noble and honorable organization, I am hosting this fundraiser to help raise money for this organization and the wounded warriors they support so that they can use this money to pay for the fuel for the aircraft (which is extremely expensive), maintenance for the aircraft (also expensive) and any hotel accommodations that are needed for these wounded warriors and the caregivers that accompany them.

I ask for donations only and all donations will go to the Wings for Vets organization headquartered out of the Beaver County Airport.  Please help me help these vets continue these missions and to help give back to the wounded veterans needing medical attention.  I thank you in advance for your support!
