Certified PTSD Service Dog for Steve Williams
Donation protected
After several years of waiting, Steve received notice that a PTSD Service Dog is available. The service dog is a beautiful German Shepard named Leo. He is 11 months old and has completed much of his training. Steve suffers from Complex PTSD after years of serving in the US Air Force, and as a firefighter and a medic. It has been very difficult to qualify for a Service dog due to the fact that Steve, in spite of the difficulties of his PTSD, continues to work full time, still serving in the field of Emergency Management & Safety. His life mission has always been to keep other safe. He has sacrificed his body (significant work-related injuries), mind (PTSD) and soul (still continuing his mission).
There is a significant cost which includes not just the dog, but the long and intense training program. The total cost is $15,000. If you'd like to give back to a veteran/first responder who continues to serve others every day, please consider giving to this fund. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.
