ONCE SILENCED NOW RESTORING LIVES

Donation protected

Feb. 27 is an international day to bring awareness to trafficking. The red X individuals place on their hands sympolize working together to end trafficking. Many people are currently exploited in America.

I was once exploited and as a result was silenced. However, I now have a voice and am working to break the silence surrounding Commerical Sexual Expoloitation of Children (CSEC) and help others reach their God given potential.

The issues surrounding Commerical Child Sexual Exploitation and sexual abuse are overwhelming and are one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States and around the world. It is one of the most severe forms of trafficking and exploitation. The average age of victims is 12 with many being younger and most having suffered abuse previously.

As a young girl, I suffered domestic abuse and exploitation from a very young age. I am a survivor of familal trafficking. However, God has redeemed and rescued my life. As a result, I have recently earned a Masters degree and have been speaking at events for local organizations raising awareness on behalf of vulnerable girls and women in our communities.

I have spoken at various locations such as Fuller Theological Seminary, USC, Ventura County Health Department and others bringing advocacy and prevention and to the issue of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. I have partnered with local agencies such as Fuller Seminary, IEmpathize, OasisUSA, Runaway Girl and Treasures to bring awareness, prevention and working for the end of the Commerical Sexual Exploitation of children in our local community and enaging local communities with empathy in order to bring an end to child sex trafficking and exploitation.

This campaign will help support my desires to expand speaking opportunities in the greater Los Angeles area about the realities of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. It will allow me to develop the  partnerships with local anti-trafficking organizations and engage churches, community groups, and concerned citizens

Additionally, I will develop a book on domestic child exploitation drawing from my past experiences and research that can be used as a tool in order that individuals can be equipped to know the signsposts in their local community.

This campaign looks to raise funding to help assist in the prevention of domestic minor sex trafficking from occuring.

You are invited  to partner with the campaign so that, I may expand areas of influence and continue to be a voice for so many whose voices are silenced.
