Help the family of Cristian Moreira

With heavy hearts, we share the news that Cesar Christian Moreira(Cris) passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30th. Cris was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His presence in our community will be deeply missed.

Devoted wife, Victoria and cherished son, Cristian are facing their tremendous loss with an unwavering faith in God’s plan. His family is shattered but will persevere.

To know Cris was to love Cris. His commitment to our Catholic community was expressed in countless ways, including ushering at Epiphany’s 11:00 Mass and serving at Emmaus retreats. His devotion to his family was unmatched. Loving husband and proud father would be understatements. Cris cheered Cristian at every soccer match and was excited to see him begin college at Florida State University.

First to call with congratulations or condolences, it was clear that Cris cared for each of his many friends. His contagious joy shows us how to live a passion-filled life.

In response to many inquiries of how to help Victoria and Cristian during this challenging time, friends of the family have set up this GoFundMe page to assist with immediate and long-term expenses. In this hour of darkness, we humbly reach out to you, our community, for support to lessen Victoria and Cristian’s burdens.

As we come together to remember and celebrate the life of Cris, every gesture of kindness is deeply appreciated. Please keep Victoria and Cristian in your prayers. May God bless and comfort them.
