Cesar Perez's Memorial Ceremony

Our hearts are heavy for the loss of my only brother, Cesar Perez, taken from us too soon on May 3, 2017.


For those of you who did not know Cesar, he was a loving father of four beautiful children, ages eighteen, seventeen, twelve, and ten. Cesar was a hard working family man who dreamed big and prioritized his kids over all. He was a father of morals and values and always tought his kids to forgive, love, and respect one another. No matter the situation, Cesar always managed to stay strong for his kids.



It was always in his nature to care for his kids and remain available for family and friends. Cesar was the type of friend where you can call him in the middle of the night and in a matter of minutes, he was ready to help in any way that he could, with no expectations. He truly was humble man with a golden heart full of love. No matter how busy life could get, he always kept communication with our mom and myself.



Not only did he play a fatherly role with his kids but he also played the role of my dad. We both come from absent fathers and words cannot express the emptiness he leaves behind. Cesar was my mom's only son and her right hand. He was the foundation and back-bone to my mother and the glue that kept my family united as a whole.

We will always remember Cesar Perez as a true exemplary, with a golden heart, and with a smile on his face. We're trying to remain positive and optimistic for the four children he leaves behind.
