This is a story about a very special person, Emma Ann [Glenda :) ]Cleveland Godinez. Emma is 21 years young and one of the most beautiful, kind, generous and loving souls you will ever meet. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Emma has had their life forever changed by her kind heart and beautiful smile. It is with heavy hearts that we write this…
Yesterday our sweet Emma was diagnosed with Leukemia. Over the last few days Emma has been in pain. Everything from fevers, joint pain to severe stomach pain. She went into Urgent Care who gave her a strep culture and sent her home. The next morning she woke up because of severe pain in her abdomen and went to the ER. Upon much more examination and testing she was told she had Leukemia. From the ER, she was loaded into an ambulance and transported to a Cancer Treatment Center down south to start treatment immediately. This morning Emma had her first bone marrow test to determine the type and severity of her Leukemia. Her current treatment plan will have her receiving treatment at the Cancer Treatment Center for the next 3 to 4 weeks.
The funds raised through this page will help Emma and Eddie cover many of the unfortunate and unexpected expenses they encounter.
Any support, prayers, and words of encouragement would be appreciated more than you will ever know. The power of prayer moves mountains! We will use this page to update all of you on Emma's treatment and progress.
