Barkley

Hi! My name is Adrianna! I am trying to raise money to help Barkley’s mom and dad due to the expense of his vet bills.. Here is his story:

Barkley went missing on 22 west at 13th street exit. He was traveling with his dad on 22 west when they got a flat tire. His dad pulled over to change the tire and when he opened the door to get the tools Barkley jumped out and immediately enters the woods. He was missing for 6 days until a kind woman spotted him under the guard rail at the 13th street exit of 22 west. He was reunited with his family on 9/18/23 and rushed immediately to the animal hospital. After a vet consultation the family learned that he had sustained a broken leg and his knee cap was turned around backward. He has to under for surgery to repair his leg.we are hopeful he will heal and be his happy little self soon!

The current vet bill is $8000 due to the type of surgery he has to have. The veterinarian believes he was hit by a car, which caused his injuries that he sustained. Because he is a puppy and has to have very intense surgery, there is a chance in the long run as well that he might need more surgeries due to screws bending. The family is very grateful for everyone’s help on finding Barkley, and I want to thank everyone in advance for any donation you make or even the share!
