We are deeply saddened to share the news of the untimely demise of our beloved Telugu Association of Greater Sacramento (TAGS) family member - Durga Chintala.
We are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Durga Chintala’s family.
Durga suffered a massive stroke on March 10th, 2021, and has been in and out of hospital since then. He passed away unexpectedly on April 23rd, 2021 after battling for life for nearly a month and half.
Durga has been a resident of Folsom, CA for nearly 15 years. During this time Durga actively served Telugu and Indian community in
Greater Sacramento area. Serving food to the audience was one of Durga’s favorite activities during community events. We at TAGS not only lost an active member but also a good friend.
Durga was a loving husband, caring father of 3, and was the sole breadwinner for the family. He is survived by his wife, a 15-year son, a 12-year old daughter, and a 7-year old son. He hails from Vijayawada, India.
This fundraiser is to financially support his family & children to get through the tough times by covering some of the medical and other expenses incurred and balance for the kid's education.
Your donation helps provide this support while they grieve their loss! All proceeds are going to Durga Chintala's family.
