Brighton Marathon 2020
I'm running the Brighton Marathon this year with my family, to raise money for Diabetes UK. I've had Type 1 diabetes for 17 years and it's a part of who I am which can be incredibly challenging. but also has made me a stronger person in many ways.
I'm so grateful for the care I receive but there is a long way to go in terms of providing equipment which makes day to day life so much easier - which I currently partly self-fund - and ultimately finding a cure to this condition. I'm running the marathon so that the money can be put towards making lives easier and research into potential cures. It won't be easy - I kind of suck at running - but I hope it will be worth it because of your kind donations.
