Tim’s Fight:
Donation protected
We the family of Tim Williams are reaching out to you for support during this difficult time. He suffered an unexpected and heart wrenching loss of his lobster boat by an undetermined fire. The boat is a total loss. There is no insurance on this $150,000 boat and an open loan of $12,000.
Let us start with a short history of Tim’s life journey which began with coming into this world with many learning disabilities leading him to live in residence schools including Landmark in Beverly and Riverview in Sandwich both specializing in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. These schools provided him with invaluable tools to overcome challenges and learn in his own unique way. Despite facing dyslexia and dysgraphia and many other issues, Tim has tackled life with strong determination, and these schools played a pivotal role in shaping the person he is today.
A proud blue-collar worker, Tim has devoted his life to caring for his family and the demanding profession of lobstering. He does many other manual labor jobs as well to get by. Lobstering is his passion. Recently a mysterious fire tragically consumed his beloved boat and his life’s dream.
The weight of this loss is not just financial; it’s a blow to his dream of owning his own boat. Heart wrenching to watch. This GoFundMe campaign aims to help Tim pay off the current loan and hopefully purchase a smaller lobster boat and rebuild his livelihood. We, as the family of Tim are turning to those who know Tim as well as the community to help.
Tim has been a larger than life fixture on the Plymouth waterfront for over 30 years. He has been very generous over the years when he didn’t have the means to do so.
We are deeply grateful for any support you may offer in helping Tim navigate through this terrible event as well being a part of restoring his dream and livelihood. Warm regards, the Dumas and the Williams families.
