CFRC Fundraising for The Beacon Of Light CC

Clondalkin Flyers running club are hosting their first ever running event on the 17th of April 2021. The local club has been only running since October  2020 and has proved to be a huge success among the people of Clondalkin. The club has been a major outlet for people in the current climate. Our event will consist of three distance races, 10K, 21K & 42K.

Our club has had amazing support from the local people of Clondalkin, so we have decided to" give back",by all proceeds raised  going to our chosen local charity  The Beacon of Light.

The Beacon of Light Counseling Centre is a community based project which provides high quality  affordable , professional counselling and training workshops for people experiencing personal, emotional and psychological difficulties in their life. Since set up in Clondalkin in 2000 BLCC has assisted and supported hundreds of adults, children critical and /or life changing periods. They also run a programme called the breakthrough programme which uses 1:1 psychotherapy for 18-35 yr old men and group physical activity: football, boxing & martial arts.
