ChildrenofEcuador Earthquake relief

On April 16th, 2016, coastal Ecuador was hit with a massive earthquake, leaving much of it destroyed.  Many people are without homes and are sleeping in temporary shelters.   There is an urgent need for food, water, shelter, and a long term need for many people in the Bahia de Caraquez area. 

Children of Ecuador has worked for the past 12 years with local people and organizations in the areas of education and environmental sustainability.  Now more than ever, the people of Bahia and area need our help. 

All funds raised through this campaign will be donated to our various contacts in Ecuador. We will seek advice from the people on the ground in Ecuador to determine the best use of funds.   These contacts include our friends at Genesis, Planet Drum, The Rotary Club of Bahia de Caraquez, and potentially others as we evaluate the need and the best way to help.  As Children of Ecuador has and always will be run by volunteers, all money donated will be given to the people who need it most.
