Brett 'wombat' Davy

Hi, my name is Bell. Many of you know my dad. Brett, Wombat, Batt, BD.

As most of you are aware early Saturday morning on the 10th of August 2024 Dad unfortunately lost his battle after suffering a serious staph infection.

Dad was a larger-than-life person with the heart to prove it. He would do anything to help those before himself, from just a friendly chat to coaching and umpiring various teams.

Dad grew up across WA, later venturing to NSW and finally landing in Adelaide.

Dad contributed to many sporting clubs all across Australia. He was on the board of HockeySA as well as a committee member of the South Australian Masters team. As well as playing baseball on and off for the last 40 years.

We miss Dad immensely and believe that he will always be around when we need him.

With the sudden nature of Dad's passing, we were obviously not at the point of considering costs and planning for a funeral. The family is looking for assistance in raising funds for a service to farewell Dad in the manner he deserves.

If you're in a position to donate towards the funeral costs, would be greatly appreciated by his family.
