Brian Haskins Memorial Donation

Brian Haskins, Fleet Services Supervisor for the City of Culver City, was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on January 19, 2016.  Brian was a devoted Father and Husband, and well-loved employee in the Fleet Services Division of the Culver City Transportation Department for over 13 years, beginning as a Fleet Services Assistant and then quickly promoting to a Sr. Fleet Services Technician and then becoming a Supervisor in 2007.  Brian was an outstanding supervisor and was actively involved with SCRTTC technical training programs, the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association (MEMA), and was a part of the CTA Maintenance Committee.  Brian was a wonderful person always willing to assist others with whatever they needed both professionally and personally.  He was the “calm in the forest fire” and was outstanding with people as he enjoyed everyone.  Brian’s passing is a tremendous loss not only to the City, but also to the industry and especially his family.  He will always be deeply missed.  Brian is survived by his Wife Maureen, his Mother and his four children.  We would like to help his family with their special needs and additional things which will inevitably come about.
