ProSolve Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
On September 6th 2024 the ProSolve family will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising money for Bluebell Wood.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks is 24.6 miles long with a 5000 ft vertical ascent. This expedition is going to be a physical and mental challenge, testing the ProSolve family to the limit.
Each year the ProSolve family selects an ambassador charity, committing to supporting and raising both awareness and funds via internal activities and company donations.
As a family-friendly and run business, and having supported The Sheffield Children’s Hospital in 2023, we are keen to continue to endorse organisations that particularly benefit children. For 2024, ProSolve will dedicate its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to the Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice, South Yorkshire.
Founded 15 years ago, Bluebell Wood cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. They are currently supporting around 250 families, both in their hospice and in family homes. In just one year, Bluebell Wood provides more than 50,000 of hours of care.
Their support services include end of life treatment and care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more.
With a £2,000 fundraising target, the ProSolve team will be participating in numerous activities and events throughout the year including coffee mornings, dress down days, sponsored walks / runs, Christmas tree recycling and perhaps a Yorkshire Peak or three!
