Helping Chad Gardner and Family

Donation protected
Wednesday night January 8th, Chad Gardner suffered a heart attack. He was transferred from Pershing to Boone Hospital in Columbia. As soon as he arrived, they put two stents in an artery that was 100% clogged with plans to put a stent in another artery that was clogged in the following days. Friday morning January 10th, Chad unexpectedly suffered a stroke. It affected his ability to come up with the right words and caused some vision issues. Then very early Sunday morning on January 12th, Chad unfortunately had a second heart attack where he had to be sedated and intubated and remains that way as of now. They put another stent in another clogged artery at this time as well. Boone decided they needed to get him to KU for better options and more specialized care. They have been working since last night on a transfer plan. This morning they thought they had it figured out and told Katie to get on the road because he would be there shortly. When she arrived, she found out the transfer had been canceled for now, but told to stay there because they were still working on it. So as of right now, her and Landen are at KU, and Chad is still at Boone. There has just been setback after setback.. Katie has been told that Chad‘s heart is very diseased. As everyone knows the bills won’t stop. If you can help this family by donating it is so appreciated! Please also share this to get the word and latest updates out. Thank you, Jennifer
