Chad Geiger: Hardship - Congenital Heart Failure
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My name is Rory, and I am the older brother to Chad Geiger to whom this fundraiser is being directed to. A little bit of background. . . my brother was born with a congenital heart defect at birth. Over the course of the years Chad had undergone numerous surgeries, including open heart, to try and improve his condition. Unfortunately, the 'plumbing' that God has given him, along with some great assistance from numerous doctors and surgeons, has almost ran its course. Chad is on numerous medications to try and improve his quality of life, but will ultimately need to go on the heart and lung transplant list.
Due to my brothers deteriorating condition, he is physically unable to work and is fighting to try and get disability, to which we have been advised that may not happen until the end of the year, or early 2022 until there is resolution. Chad is a very strong and proud individual and does not know that I am doing this. I feel that everyone needs a little help assistance sometimes and I hope he's ok with me doing this. All monies collected thru this will be used for Chad's medication costs and any outstanding medical bills while he is awaiting the SS disability hopefully later this year. Given the times we are all presently living in I fully understand, that may people may not be able to give financially, and that is perfectly ok. . . thoughts and prayers are always welcomed.
I do want to extend a huge THANK YOU in advance to everyone for their support with this and I look forward to the opportunity to 'pay it forward' in the future.
