Chad Searcy Memorial
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Chad Searcy, passed away unexpectedly on August 9th, on his 36th birthday. Thankfully, his loving family and friends were by his side.
He was born with a heart condition, which he had corrected through surgery in October 2016. Unfortunately, there were complications from the corrective surgery that caused an infection, triggering a brain aneurysm. His medical team at Emanuel did all that they could but unfortunately brain aneurysms are rarely something that can be recovered from.
He is survived by his mother, Robin DeHart, partner, Misty Wiser, their beloved nine year old daughter, Remi James Wiser-Searcy, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Please join his family in honoring him at Wauds Funeral Home on August 19th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated. Your donations will be used to cover funeral costs. Any remaining amount will go into a fund for his beautiful daughter, Remi.
