Chad Stewart - Keeping an Open Mind

When we originally created this fundraiser there were a lot of unknowns and we didn't really have any clue how things would shape out. In short, Chad was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. 

This fundraiser is being utilized to help offset costs associated with hospital stays, surgeries, MRI/X-rays, travel expenses, and so forth. 

Slowly but surely, the bills are trickling in and the reality is, they aren't going away anytime soon. We reached our initial goal of $50k thanks to nearly 300 people making contributions ranging from $5 to $5,000. Every dollar helps so thank you to everyone who has already donated. Our new goal is $75k as we anticipate the expenses to continue to mount up. 

Chad remains in good spirits and is determined to not let his diagnosis define him. He's a fighter and is going to fight everyday to the best of his ability. On December 4th, he completed his first 6 weeks of radiation/chemo and will have a few weeks off before starting his next cycle of treatment which will be 5 days of chemo with 28 days off (6 times). His next MRI will be in January 2024.

Stacey, Brendan, and Tyler are all doing well and working hard to maintain a sense of normalcy during these challenging times. Whether it's motivating Chad to go for walks, helping with tasks around the house than Chad used to do, or simply being a pain in his ass...they're keeping the ship moving forward.
