I’m Kristin, Chad’s youngest sister.

Late on Friday, March 29, we received the devastating news that Chad was killed in a car accident in Morro Bay. He is survived by his partner, Leah, and their three children, Marley, Eli, and Zeva.

If you live in Morro Bay, you may have met Chad in a game of pickup basketball, through mutual friends, or while he was slinging smoothies at Shine Cafe. Towering over everyone else, he stood 6’6” and was always ready with a smile and a goofy joke. He was a gentle, loving man and we already miss him deeply.

There is no way to prepare to lose someone at age 43. Funds raised by this GoFundMe will go toward expenses for Chad’s memorial and any additional funds will go to Leah, Marley, Eli, and Zeva. Please consider donating if you are so inclined.
