Chad's Medical Fund
Donation protected

On Sunday March 19, while riding mountain bikes with friends, our dear friend and community leader Chad Gurney had an unfortunate accident where he dislocated his hip and broke his hip socket. He required surgery and is expected to make a full recovery in 6 months time.
Chad works full time supporting a family by his construction buisness, with not being able to put any weight on his hip socket for the next 3 months Chad will need our help to afford him medical benefits while he can heal. We've created this site because so many of his amazing friends and family have contacted us asking how they can help defray some of his costs.
Any help you could provide towards the surgery expenses or his rehabilitation expenses would be so appreciated. Some will donate less, some will donate more, but every single dollar counts and will make all the difference towards his recovery—both physical and financial.
Where your donation will go:
March 19 • Emergency room triage, x-rays $2100
March 19-24 • Hospital Stay: $40,000
March 22 • Hip surgeon, hardware, follow up visits $5300
March 22 • Anesthesiologist $1500
March 25 • Southwest Washington medical center $5,275
Future • Physical therapy and rehabilitation, out-of-pocket medications

If you prefer to donate directly and not through this site:
Email us at holsermx26 on gmail and we will provide a physical mailing address for your donations.
From the first time I met Chad he has been one of the most positive, joyful people I have ever met. He is kind, caring and is a loving father and an amazing friend. He has always been there for me and plenty of us local cyclist. He is always out there helping build and maintaing trails, coaching his kids and shuttling us up the hill. Any help you could provide towards the surgery expenses or his rehabilitation expenses would be so appreciated. Thank you so very much for your contributions and helping out a local community hero.
