Chaires 9-11 All Star Team - State Championship

The Chaires-Capitola 9-11 All Star Team has been on a fantastic run the last couple of weeks, winning their district tournament here in Tallahassee and then this past weekend traveling to Defuniak Springs beating out a team from Niceville to win the Section Championship. Our All Stars team couldn't be more excited about now playing for the State Championship. The State Championship is a huge accomplishment for our players and they are thrilled to now get to play 7 of the other best teams in Florida. The State Championship takes place the weekend of July 9th in Defuniak Springs and will be an expensive endeavor due to the rising costs of hoteling, gas, food, etc. in the State. Hotels that you would normally expect to pay $100 for are now charging in excess of $250 a night. We are doing our best at controlling costs but the trip will still be expensive for each of the families.

Our player’s families are looking to establishments, friends, families, and anyone else who might be willing and interested in providing a monetary donation to help defray some of the costs that are involved in having to travel to the State Tournament. Our Chaires families would love to be able to say how everyone helped make our State Championship experience more memorable by having financially supported our team. 100% of all donations received will be divided amongst each of the players’ families.
