Chairman’s Cycle Challange

My Name is Adam, a 42 year old Truck Driver who is the Chairman of the Manston Spitfires Football Club. The club now has 2 teams and is enterimg its 2nd season. As a reward for all the efforts the teams will be putting in during the season, I've set myself this challenge to raise money for both teams, to treat them at the end of the season. With a Play on the Pitch Tournament for the teams

To raise the funds for this special treat for the players, I have decided to challange myself to something I’ve never attempt before. A 62 mile bike ride. I will ride from our Home ground in Manston, travelling to each of 6 grounds of our opponent’s in our under 12s division from the 1st half of the 2022/23 season and then back to our Home Ground. I hope to do this in 6 and a half hours.

Starting at our home ground in Manston, he will take in Herne Bay Youth FC, Tankerton FC, Faversham Strikeforce FC, Hernehill Herons FC, Tyler Hill FC and Baypoint FC before cycling back to Manston. Roughly 62 miles

I have never attempted such a big challenge, and expect it to be very tough, but knowing, like the clubs motto, “Believe, and you can Achieve” I will be able to complete it, and give the team an experience to live long in their memories.

After 2 postponements due to a fixture clash and medical advice, I’m determined to finally pound the tarmac and achieve this feat, and has chosen the 8th April to complete the challenge. Any support for this challenge would be greatly appreciated to achieve my goal.
