Help Save Dogs from Korean Dog Meat Trade
Tax deductible
If you have ever met the Chalfant family, you would know how OBSESSED we are with our two dogs – Mora and Butter. Not to sound cliché, but Mora and Butter have changed our lives, filling our hearts more than we knew possible. We are so thankful and grateful to Nami Kim, the amazing leader and founder of Save Korean Dogs (SKD), who rescued Mora, Butter, and thousands of other dogs from the horrific dog meat trade that occurs in Korea.
Our story started in 2018, when we visited Nami and the Save Korean Dogs’ facility in Gimpo, South Korea. We learned about Nami’s decades long fight to not only save dogs from illegal meat farms, but also how tirelessly she’s worked to end the dog meat trade once and for all. While the organization has come a very long way – rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting thousands of dogs to loving homes in the U.S. and Canada - it is unfortunately still common for these dreadful meat farms to remain open.
As a tiny non-profit, Nami and SKD relies entirely on donations and volunteers to operate. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to have the ability to open our home and foster as many dogs as we can; however, we want to do more and help create a greater awareness. So for this holiday season, we would like to raise funds for Save Korean Dogs USA Foundation, Inc and will match all donations up to $20,000.
This is an organization that means so much to our and many other families. We thank you and appreciate any contribution you can make to this amazing cause!
Happy Holidays!
